Raquel Carter has always been, and shall remain, a rather personal diary; a place where ordinary days gather beside old books, cottage gardens, quiet reflections, and the gentle pursuit of a life lived with intention. Every page is written from experience rather than persuasion; for that reason, I write only of the brands, makers, and objects that naturally become part of my own days and find an honest place within my home.
I do not accept guest posts, nor do I publish material prepared by others. Each article is written in my own voice and offered only when I feel a sincere affection for what I am sharing.

Lady Raquel Carter is first and foremost a writer, illustrator, and storyteller who invites others into an old-fashioned life.
